Nuuksio National Park

This was the first place we stopped in Finland. Why ? It is near Helsinki, there is a hug parking place suitable for campers, for free, it is beautiful park and there is a crag near.

Nuuksio National Park is characterized by its unique blend of landscapes, which were shaped during the last Ice Age. The park is home to rolling hills, dense forests of pine and spruce, and scattered lakes that glisten under the Nordic sun.

In the spring and summer, the forests come alive with vibrant wildflowers, so it is a busy park where people from the area will come to spend some quality time in the nature.

There are many trails around and by the time stayed there every day during the lunch time we would for a 20 min walking with the dog

In the area, it is possible to find blueberries around and people will come to collect.
